The average nominal salary of a full-time employee in Ukraine in September 2021 increased, compared to September 2020, by 18.7% – up to 14 thousand.
This was reported by the State Statistics Service.
At the same time, compared to August 2021, the size of the average nominal salary in September increased by 1.7%.
Real wages in September 2021, compared to September 2020, increased by 6.9%.
The State Statistics Service noted that the average nominal salary of a full-time employee in Ukraine in September was 2.4 times higher than the minimum wage, which is set at UAH 6,000.
The lowest average salary among the regions was recorded in Chernivtsi region – 10 thousand 976 UAH, and the highest – in Donetsk – 15 thousand 148 UAH.
The average salary in Kyiv in September amounted to 20 thousand 658 UAH.
Minimum salary:
From January 1, 2021, the minimum wage in Ukraine has been increased to UAH 6,000.

The average nominal salary of a full-time employee in Ukraine in August 2021 increased compared to August 2020 by 22.3% to UAH 13,997.
On September 2, 2021, the Government of Ukraine changed the procedure for calculating the average salary.
