Kyiv.Ukraine.Ukraine Gate – November 2,2021- The JSC State Food and Grain Corporation of Ukraine launches an autumn program to purchase grain from the 2022 harvest, including in respect of third grade wheat and barley grain, with the minimum batch set at 100 tons.
“The decision to conclude a contract for the supply of grain of future crops is made quickly and remotely. Advance payments under contracts are made exclusively in cash, which allows our customers – agricultural producers – to purchase the goods they need to effectively manage their products. Do business with selected suppliers, ”the company noted.
It is also obligated to evaluate the financial performance of the potential supplier, as well as the cultivated areas, before agreeing to the decision to conclude a transaction.
The company noted that among the conditions for signing a forward contract are mandatory insurance for future crops, which is pledged, and the presentation of an agricultural commodity receipt (or pledge agreement by decision of the State Property Fund) in order to mitigate the risks associated with unprecedented performance.
“After signing all required contracts and submitting documents, the down payment should be 2,800 hryvnias excluding VAT per ton of grain contracted. The rate of use of funds varies from 9.5% to 13% per annum in UAH, depending on the volume of delivery. As part of the loyalty program, regular customers can receive an additional 0.5% discount from the base price.
The State Food and Grain Corporation of Ukraine operates the most extensive branch network in Ukraine, represented in 23 regions, and boasts a silo capacity of 3.75 million tons.
