Meta is introducing a new tool on the Facebook platform. It will help content authors avoid a 30% commission on Apple subscriptions.
The feature is called “Fan Subscriptions”.
“Creating a meta-universe, we focus on opening opportunities for creators to make money on their work. The 30% commission charged by Apple for transactions complicates this, so we are updating our subscription product so that creators can now earn more, ”the statement said.
In addition, the platform will create advertising links for authors. When people subscribe to this link, the creators will receive tax-deductible funds, as payment will be made through Facebook Pay’s payment system.
