In Nikolaev in several hospitals which are basic for treatment of patients with COVID-19, oxygen will suffice till Sunday, November 7. The deputy chairman of the Nikolaev regional state administration Yury Granaturov reported about it during a briefing .

“As for the availability of oxygen in hospitals. Today the Linde Gas company completes filling of all cryocylinders in hospitals № 1,3,5 and the Nikolaev tube dispensary. You can work quietly until the middle of Sunday. We are currently working very hard with the Ministry of Health and oxygen suppliers, ”Granaturov said.

Besides, Granaturov commented on oxygen supply of the Novobuzhsky hospital about which the chief doctor of the Nikolaev regional infectious hospital Svetlana Fedorova wrote.
“We checked. There were 200 refilled oxygen cylinders there this morning. Neither yesterday, nor the day before yesterday, nor three days ago, it happened that there was no oxygen or oxygen concentrators in Novy Buh where it was needed, ”Granaturov said.

The situation with the Nikolaev infectious disease became aggravated in May of this year. Authorities have denied funding to the only hospital in the region that has been restored to European standards and specializes in infectious diseases.
The National Health Insurance Fund refused in principle to include the hospital in the list of medical institutions that are provided with “covident packages”.
Last week the chief doctor of the Nikolaev regional hospital Svetlana Fedorova in the comment to UNN told that the local authorities refuse supply of oxygen that leads to lethal cases.
However in regional public administration in Nikolaev refuted information, having declared that the local government on a constant basis delivers oxygen in hospital where there are patients with a coronavirus.
