Barcelona has officially announced its appointment as the coach of the Catalan national team, according to the newspaper “Ukrinform”.
The contract was signed for a period of 2.5 years and runs until the summer of 2024.
Xavi previously worked as a coach for the Qatari team Al-Sadd, but the two parties were able to agree to terminate the contract for 5 million euros.
