Kyiv.Ukraine.Ukraine Gate – November 7,2021- Today, Saturday, the United States condemned the assassination of Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Qadi by using a drone, describing it as a terrorist act.
“We are relieved to learn that the Prime Minister was unharmed. This outrageous act of terrorism, which we strongly condemn, was aimed at the heart of the Iraqi state,” State Department spokesman Ned Price said. The Iraqi Security Forces, tasked with defending Iraq’s sovereignty and independence, have offered to assist us in investigating the attack.”
The apartment of Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa al-Qadimi was assassinated using a drone.
The Iraqi prime minister was not harmed. Shortly after the assassination, he said he would feel well and called on everyone to “calm down and persevere for the sake of Iraq .”
None of the known groups has yet claimed responsibility for the attack.
Political tensions have risen sharply in the country over the announcement of the results of the October 10 elections. The groups leading the protests are well-armed, Iran-backed militants who have lost most of their seats in parliament. They claim “election fraud”.
