Three people were killed in a collision between a VAZ-2104 and a DAF truck in the Cherkasy region near the village of Sitniki.
According to preliminary data, on November 6 at about 6:30 p.m. on the Kyiv-Znamyanka highway, the driver of a VAZ-2104 crashed into a DAF truck in the oncoming lane. Then the vehicles veered off the road, got into a ditch, and started the truck.
“As a result of the accident, a 30-year-old DAF driver, a resident of Obukhiv district of Kyiv region, a passenger and driver of VAZ, born in 1968 and 1979 from Cherkasy region, died,” the statement said.
Currently, law enforcement officers are establishing all the circumstances of the accident and are asking eyewitnesses to respond, including drivers who were passing by at the time of the accident and have recordings from a video recorder.
