“Three more so-called couriers were detained in Podlaskie Voivodeship. Two Ukrainian citizens and one from Germany were suspected of transporting illegals. In total, they were transporting six people,” the newspaper writes.

As mentioned, roadside checks, which revealed attempts to help people cross the border illegally, were conducted in Milejczyce and Staryi Lyaskovets near Zambrow. “In the first of these places, two Ukrainians and one German were detained; the immigrants they were transporting were Iraqi citizens,” the statement said.
