The rainbow was seen in November and photographed in the mountain village of Stavni in the Velikobereznyanchina region and the village of Tepava in the Svalyava region.
As explained by the local historian Ivan Tsygani, the rainbow was considered a good sign by the old men, as evidenced by its local name – “rainbow”.

The rainbow usually appears in late spring and summer after rain. It is almost impossible to see a rainbow in late autumn and winter, it is a rare phenomenon.
