“The Cabinet of Ministers is introducing a pilot project, thanks to which the” Action “will display a certificate of temporary or permanent residence. It will work by analogy with an electronic passport, but instead the information from the foreigner’s ID card will be displayed, ”the Prime Minister of Ukraine Denis Shmygal wrote in his Telegram channel.

The document provides for the introduction of a pilot project on the use of electronic display of information contained in the certificate of permanent residence and temporary residence.
According to the draft resolution, this pilot project will be implemented over two years.
“A resolution has just been adopted at a Cabinet meeting that will allow temporary / permanent residence (biometric) certificates to be reflected in Actions. We will launch it soon,” Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Mykhailo Fedorov commented on the decision in Telegram.
