Ukrainians who seek medical help must be treated without declarations with a family doctor.
This was announced by the head of the National Medical Chamber of Ukraine Serhiy Kravchenko in a commentary on GolosUA.
“According to the current legislation, namely the law of Ukraine on the foundations of legislation on healthcare, medical assistance to Ukrainians should be provided at the place of treatment. According to him, refusing to help citizens without a declaration with a family doctor, in Ukraine for five years they simply violated the law.
“Due to the actions of the Ministry of Health, the legal rights of our citizens have been violated for five years,” summed up S. Kravchenko.
Recall that a patient with coronavirus does not need to have a signed declaration with a family doctor in order to receive medical care. A person infected with coronavirus should be treated without a family doctor. This was stated at a briefing by Health Minister Maxim Stepanov. He assured that the declaration can be signed after recovery.
