According to Demchenko, today the situation on the border of our state with Belarus remains calm and controlled. The border with Belarus is currently being further strengthened.
“Today, the situation at the border and, in fact, the interaction of various structures, including border guards, National Guards, police, the Minister of Internal Affairs and the head of the State Border Service within the Volyn region got acquainted with them,” he said.
The spokesman stressed that the issue of illegal migration had never been relevant for the border with Belarus before. According to him, only 13 illegal migrants were detained in this area in 9 months.
“At the same time, we must prepare for the fact that Belarus, it is possible, may direct the flow of illegal migrants led by it in the direction of Ukraine,” he added.
