One of the sisters, Opanasyuk, said that 4 years ago she married her longtime friend Vadim. Maria said that Vadim is 10 years older than her and that they had a friendship for many years. It is worth noting that Maria performed on stage almost until the very birth, but she carefully concealed her position thanks to the designers. Duo ANNA MARIA became quite famous in Ukraine after the Eurovision scandal a year and a half ago. The Opanasyuk sisters gave an interview in which they could not unequivocally answer the question: “Whose Crimea?” Later it became known that the singers’ parents still live in the occupied Crimea and even hold positions of responsibility.
“It was probably the most difficult period of our life. It was a trial. Stones were flying at us in full. We read these comments on the Internet, we cried, we had a terrible depression,” said the Opanasyuk sisters.
