As of today, road safety is being checked in Ukraine

As of today, November 12, 2021, the patrol police began to check the technical condition of cars that must pass the mandatory inspection.

The technical condition of cars in Ukraine will be checked right on the road. To do this, the police will use special mobile diagnostic stations. The inspections began on November 12, 2021. According to Biloshitsky, every patrol police unit in each region has already been equipped with diagnostic stations.

What transport is checked:

• cars and their trailers, which are used to transport passengers or goods for profit;

• taxis;

• cars carrying dangerous goods;

• buses;

• trucks over 3.5 tons and trailers;

• specialized transport.

However, the inspection does not apply to private passenger transport.

What is being checked:

• measure the parameters of the headlights;

• measure the residual height of the tire tread pattern;

• analyze the exhaust emissions of gasoline engines;
