Kyiv.Ukraine.Ukraine Gate – November 13,2021- NEC Ukrenergo has received an opinion from the State Inspectorate for Energy Supervision on its readiness for work in the autumn-winter period of 2021-2022.
The document confirms that NEC Ukrenergo carried out in a timely and completely all the planned actions for the period to prepare the main networks for work in RAM. Supplied with a backup card, and the technical means necessary to perform emergency recovery work in good condition. The readiness of equipment and facilities to operate at low temperatures and adequate fire safety has also been confirmed.
The company completed a 120% overhaul campaign on airlines in 10 months this year. In particular, more than 3 thousand insulators, 47 reinforced concrete supports, 70 tons of lightning protection cable were replaced, and more than 2.3 thousand hectares of OHL roads were cleared of overgrowth and bushes.
In addition, the percentage of repairs to substations was 103%. Thus, seven automatic transformers of 220-750 KV, two transformers of 35 KV, 55 circuit breakers of 220-750 KV, 333 circuit breakers of 154 KV and less, and 69 compressors were repaired.
It is reported that at the same time as the repairs, a comprehensive technical re-equipment of network equipment was carried out, replacing it with modern, more reliable and economical ones. An emergency stockpile of equipment, fuel, lubricants, construction and other materials with a total value of approximately 50.3 million UAH has been created for the practical restoration of the main and interstate electrical networks in case of damage as a result of emergency situations.
To promptly eliminate the consequences of emergencies (in case of their occurrence) Ukrenergo has developed a procedure for the formation of operational headquarters, evaluation commissions and an algorithm for action at various levels of government to eliminate the consequences of emergencies.
As reported, Ukrenergo denies reports of “fan outages” of electricity.
