The final match of the group stage of the League of Nations Switzerland – Ukraine was canceled due to the detected cases of infection with the coronavirus in the “blue and yellow”.
The Ukrainian national team was ready to fight, because the squad included 13 healthy footballers for the minimum application. However, the doctor of the canton of Lucerne decided to send the Ukrainian team to quarantine.
According to the Football NEWS program, UEFA may decide the fate of this fight tomorrow, November 20. The case is now pending before the UEFA Control, Disciplinary and Ethics Committee.
It should be noted that the organization has several options for making a decision, including a technical defeat for the Ukrainian national team or the determination of the winner by drawing lots.
