During the year from October 2020 to October 2021, all types of alcohol and tobacco products rose in price.

During the year rose in price:
- domestic beer by an average of 7.2% (up to UAH 18.94 per 0.5 liters);
- vodka – by 1.8% (up to UAH 94.11 per 0.5 liters);
- table wines – by 4.0% (up to UAH 69.61 per 0.75 l).
Cigarettes with a filter of domestic brands in October this year were sold on average at UAH 50.02 per pack (20 pcs.) – 19.2% more expensive than a year earlier, without a filter – at UAH 44.77 per pack (more expensive by 18) , 8%).
After rising for seven consecutive months in October, inflation began to decline and is 10.9% year on year.
