Polish forces detained a group of about 100 migrants who tried to cross the border from Belarus at night. This was announced by the Ministry of Defense of Poland on Thursday .

“Tonight, an attempt was made, inspired by Belarusians, to illegally cross the border in Dubych Church. A group of about 100 migrants was detained by Polish troops. Belarusian services initially conducted reconnaissance. Most likely, they damaged the fence. Belarusians then forced migrants to throw stones at Polish soldiers to divert their attention. An attempt to cross the border took place several hundred meters away, ”the ministry said in a statement.
According to the Polish Interior Ministry, it was the Belarusian special forces who led the attack on migrants. Security forces also showed footage of Belarusian special forces.
