Ukraine has joined the European Union’s decision to include eight more officials from the occupied Crimea in the list of persons subject to EU restrictive measures in connection with actions against Ukraine’s territorial integrity, sovereignty and independence.

It is reported that the mentioned third countries have undertaken to bring their national policies in line with this decision of the Council of the EU.

The EU Council has decided to add eight more people to the list of personal sanctions against Russia imposed after the beginning of the temporary occupation of Crimea.
It is noted that the list of the specified persons includes employees of law enforcement agencies – judges, prosecutors and employees of security services “responsible for observance of the Russian legislation in illegally annexed Crimea and Sevastopol”.
