US President Joe Biden publicly pardoned turkey jelly and peanut butter on the eve of Thanksgiving.

“By the authority given to me as President of the United States, I am giving you a pardon,” the American leader said during a bird pardon ceremony at the White House.
The president also joked that the two turkeys were chosen from all the others due to their temperament, appearance and vaccination against coronavirus.
In the United States, turkeys are specially given names that complement each other in content. In 2020, former US President Donald Trump pardoned the Beginning and Corn, the day before last – Bread and Butter.
Thanksgiving in the United States is celebrated annually on the fourth Thursday in November – this year the holiday falls on November 25.
