“That’s his intention,” Psaki told reporters, confirming reports that Biden told advisers and staff that he intends to run for president again in 2024.
The Washington Post recently quoted its sources as saying that Biden and his inner circle have assured allies that he intends to run in the 2024 election.
It is noted that this message is addressed to supporters of the Democratic Party, who doubt Biden’s ability to run for a second term given his age and declining popularity.
Concerns in Democrat circles are causing the rating of the current head of the White House to fall – over the past six months, it has fallen by more than 10 points – to 40%. This is due in particular to rising inflation and the effects of the coronavirus pandemic.
