kyiv.Ukraine.Ukraine Gate – November 24,2021- According to reports from the Ministry of Health, Healthcare institutions that vaccinate Ukrainians against COVID-19 will receive new laptops. Today, the Ministry of Health shipped 372 new laptops and optical mice from the warehouse.
New equipment was sent to all regions of Ukraine.
“The ministry has purchased new equipment to facilitate the work of our doctors. Today, medical records of patients are entered into the electronic health care system. Therefore, the provision of portable computers is a necessity in which we are trying to help, ”said Deputy Minister of Health Maria Karcevic.
Today, over 5 thousand medical institutions operate in the electronic health care system. More than 523 million electronic medical records have been entered into the EHR, in particular, visits, diagnoses, appointments and conclusions about the patient.
A total of over 32 million Ukrainians use the electronic health care system, who have chosen their family doctor.
In total, since the start of the COVID-19 vaccination campaign, 597 laptops and optical mice have been purchased at the initiative of the Ministry of Health to provide healthcare institutions with the necessary equipment for the funds of the joint project “Improving Health in the Service of People” with the World Bank.
From October 1, 2021, Ukraine has completely switched to electronic sick leave, which is formed on the basis of a medical certificate of temporary disability in the Electronic Register of Disability Letters, taking into account the data in the Register of Insured Persons.
