He also defeated American Kambosos in New York by split decision and took the WBA, WBC (franchise) and WBO and IBF championship belts from Lopez.
Camposos became the eighth absolute world champion after Bernard Hopkins, Jermaine Taylor, Terence Crawford, Alexander Usek, Teofemo Lopez, Josh Taylor and Saul Alvarez.
