kyiv.Ukraine.Ukraine Gate – December 1,2021- The share of non-performing loans (NPL) as of November 1, 2021 decreased to 32.7% compared to 33.3% on October 1 in the banking sector of Ukraine.
“The share of non-performing loans in the banking sector on November 1 fell to 32.7% from 33.3% on October 1,” the statement said.
From the beginning of the year, the share of NPL decreased by 8.4 percentage points. (UAH 58.2 billion in absolute terms) and took place in banks of all groups.
The National Bank of Ukraine also began publishing monthly statistics on the distribution of non-performing loans granted to enterprises in national and foreign currencies, by the size of the business entity and the type of economic activity in March 2021.
According to the National Bank, the share of non-performing loans (NPLs) in Ukrainian banks decreased from 48.4% (as of January 1, 2020) to 41% (as of January 1, 2021).
