Yuri Kosyuk’s MHP increases chicken exports. This is evidenced by the operating results of the company for 9 months and the third quarter of 2020, UNN reports.
During the year, exports grew by 37%. In the third quarter of this year, the company exported 108,472 tons of chicken, while last year – 79,189 tons.
The first 9 months of this year were extremely difficult for MHP, the company reports. The reason is the devastating effects of the COVID-19 pandemic and bird flu in Ukraine, which has led to the temporary closure of some export markets, oversupply and, as a result, high levels of stocks in European markets and lower chicken prices worldwide.
However, MHP continues to develop its export potential intensively. In particular, in the market of the Middle East, the company said.
reference: MHP is the leading producer of chicken meat in Ukraine with the largest market share and high brand recognition of its products (“Nasha Ryaba”). MHP controls all stages of poultry production from grain growing, compound feed production to egg incubation, broiler farming, processing, marketing, distribution and sale of poultry meat (including through MHP franchise points). MHP uses its own refrigerators to deliver its products, which reduces overall transport costs and delivery time. Since May 15, 2008, MHP shares have been listed on the London Stock Exchange under the MHPC sticker.
