“During the construction works in the Donnersbergerbrücke area there was an explosion. Our specialists are already in place. The danger zone is surrounded, there is no danger outside it. The movement of trains at the main station is currently stopped,” police said.
It is also noted that the “main road” in this area is also closed. “We can’t say yet how long the closure will last,” police added.
There is no information about possible victims yet.
As for the connection, according to Deutsche Bahn, there are currently no train journeys to / from Munich Central Station.
“Rail traffic around the main station is still blocked. There are stops and cancellations of trains,” Deutsche Bahn said.
