The Italian Medicines Agency (AIFA) has approved the vaccination of children against coronavirus between the ages of five and 11 with the Pfizer vaccine.

Children will be given the vaccine at three-week intervals between the first and second doses.
AIFA issued recommendations for vaccinating children against coronavirus following a decision by the European Medicines Agency (EMA) on 25 November.
78 special centers will be set up to vaccinate children under 12 years of age. Pediatricians, nurses and animators will work there.
