The opening took place on November 23. The website of the online museum presents 2121 devices from 200 different brands.
The idea to create a museum belongs to analyst Ben Wood. He has been raising her since 2004. Since the nineties, people work in the field of mobile devices and are fond of them, so I always wanted to collect the most complete collection of phones. In 2019, Wood met with collector Matt Chatterley, and a year later he and a small team began work on the project.
The main direction of the museum is retro telephones, as well as models of zeros and early tens.
The collection promises to be constantly replenished. Visitors from all over the world can donate their old phone to the museum. In the future, the creators hope to organize full-fledged exhibitions.
