The Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine will provide 21 scholarships to state scholars to commemorate the events of the Revolution of Dignity and honor the heroism of the Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred. This was reported in the press center of the Ministry of Education, UNN reports.
“State nominal scholarships for perpetuating the events of the Revolution of Dignity and honoring the feat of the Heroes of Ukraine – Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred – were awarded to 21 young scientists … In the period from 12 to 19 November 2020, materials submitted by 153 applicants working or studying and scientific institutions,” the MES said in a statement.
According to the ministry, the winners of the competition from 2021 will receive a scholarship in the amount of two subsistence minimums.
“The selection of applicants took place in several nominations (nominal scholarships in honor of the fallen Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred – ed.): Dmitry Maksimov Scholarship – 4 people; Nazariy Voitovych Scholarship – 5 people; Roman Gurik Scholarship – 4 people; Ustym Holodniuk scholarship – 5 people; Yuri Popravka scholarship – 3 people, ”he added to the Ministry of Education and Science.
Today, November 21, Ukraine celebrates the Day of Dignity and Freedom, which marks the beginning of this day of two revolutions: The Orange Revolution (2004) and the Revolution of Dignity (2013).
