I never understood people who order pizza and wait for it to be delivered, and more often than not, they don’t get what they expected. There are no difficulties in making homemade pizza, whether it is ordinary pizza or pizza on puff pastry.

Usually pizza dough is decomposed or stretched on a baking tray or pizza pan, greased with tomato sauce and then decomposed stuffing – cheese, tomatoes, sausage or hot dogs, greens, olives, etc. It remains only to bake pizza, which takes no more than 30 minutes. This also applies to pizza on puff pastry. This pizza is even easier to handle, because this dough is easy to buy in the store.

Ingredients:
puff pastry – 1 package;
meat slicing (ham, meat bacon, pork) – 50 g;
homemade tomato sauce – 2 tbsp. l .;
mozzarella – 100 g;
parmesan (grated) – 1-2 tbsp. l .;
green onions – 2-3 pieces;
olives – 6-8 pieces;
olive oil – 2 tsp .;
greens (basil, parsley, dill, oregano) – to taste;
spices – to taste.
Puff pastry pizza is probably the simplest you can make at home. To do this, take a package of puff pastry, spread the filling, bake. The most difficult thing is to choose the filling so as not to be disappointed later.
The dough must be thawed in advance. The package always has very detailed instructions on defrosting and baking. To make the pizza on puff pastry turn out properly, you should not deviate from these recommendations.
Usually fresh puff pastry before freezing is rolled into a roll and has a rectangular shape. After thawing, roll out the dough, trying not to deform or damage it. It is believed that pizza should be round, which is quite fair. But it is inadmissible to stretch or roll out puff pastry. Therefore, you can deviate from the rule and make the pizza rectangular.
Prepare all the ingredients in advance. You can buy ready-made meat slicing or ask the store to thinly slice the bacon. If you do not have homemade tomato sauce, you can fry the tomato pulp with spices, or, at least, half a glass of quality tomato juice to evaporate to the density of sour cream. Other ingredients are easy to cut and grate. All this takes a maximum of 10 minutes while the oven heats up.
Grease a suitable pan with a small amount of olive oil, literally 0.5 tsp. Lay out the semi-finished puff pastry, trying not to deform it. Slightly bend the edge of the dough around the perimeter, forming a kind of side, very small. Spread the dough, including the board, with a very thin layer of thick tomato sauce.
Cut the mozzarella into thin slices and spread over the entire area of the dough. If the mozzarella looks like small balls, you can grate it on a large grater and distribute the cheese evenly. Sprinkle the cheese with a pinch of dried oregano. By the way, dry oregano is perfect for pizza, whether on puff pastry or any other.
Arrange thinly sliced meat or bacon on top of the mozzarella. Contrary to popular belief, you need a little meat. Maximum – 100 g, although, in my opinion, it should be twice less and in one layer. However, there are acquaintances who are sure – the meat should be at least half a kilo and in three layers, and even cover with meat.
Sprinkle the pizza on the puff pastry with finely chopped green onion feathers – only the green part. Arrange whole olives – pitted or pitted, to your liking. It is not necessary to cut olives into pieces, pizza on puff pastry has a great look with whole.
Sprinkle the whole pizza with grated Parmesan cheese or similar cheese – grana padano, pecorino. You should try to distribute the cheese evenly. And finally, sprinkle the entire surface of the filling with the remnants of olive oil. Puff pastry pizza is ready for baking.
The oven should be preheated to the temperature recommended by the puff pastry manufacturer. All this information is on the package. All ingredients are ready to eat first, so the baking time is strictly for the readiness of the dough. Of course, it is worth checking the readiness of the dough, because each oven has some features that can significantly affect the baking process.
