In Cyprus, archeologists have discovered many artifacts and human remains in tombs dating back to the reign of Egyptian Queen Nefertiti.
Among the finds – 500 funeral items and jewelry, including a gold pendant in the shape of a lotus flower inlaid with precious stones.
The remains of 155 people were also found. One of the skeletons belonged to a 5-year-old child who was buried with many jewels.
“We were able to determine that many items belong to the reign of the Egyptian queen Nefertiti and her husband Pharaoh Akhenaten, about 1350 BC,” – say scientists.
