“The plant is currently under construction in Vasylkiv … It will produce Ukrainian-Turkish drones, in particular Anka – heavy drones. Including promising Ukrainian drones. In particular, there may be jet drones that are interceptors … They will have Ukrainian engines. and Turkish avionics: corps, etc., “Arestovich said.
According to him, Anka is the next generation of UAVs after Bayraktar.
“Jet, not piston, but jet. UAV, which exceeds Bayraktar in all respects,” said the spokesman, adding that, according to the plan, the plant in Vasilkov will produce the first products at the end of next year.
Recall: Anka – a family of unmanned aerial vehicles developed by the Turkish company Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI). Drones have means to neutralize air defense. Standard armaments include eight Roketsan Cirit guided anti-tank missiles or four MAM-L guided missiles.
