A new law that bans foreigners from entering Ukraine if they refuse to pay fines for traffic violations.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine reported that the system of photo and video recording of traffic violations began to register violations committed by drivers of vehicles with foreign registration, pravo.ua reports.
Subsequently, if this vehicle exceeds the speed limit, an automatic exchange of information will take place between the State Border Guard Service and the National Police about the receipt by the police of the data necessary to draw up a decision on violation of the traffic rules.
After the decision is made, it goes into the database, which is automatically triggered by the violator when he crosses the border.
In case of non-payment of the fine within 30 days, foreigners are issued a decision to ban entry into our country.
If the owner of a car with foreign license plates, a citizen of Ukraine, refuses to pay a fine, then the documents will be sent according to the general procedure to the State Executive Service for collection through the arrest of property or bank accounts.
Now, when a car enters Ukraine with foreign registration numbers, border guards will enter the car number, surname and name of the driver and his passport data into the database.
