Since then, Yaroslav has been treated, but the disease has only progressed. Eventually, kidney failure left the family with a choice: hemodialysis or a kidney transplant.
Fortunately, Nastya’s grandmother’s kidney was perfectly compatible with her grandson. The organ was fully examined and was in excellent condition. Therefore, the family made the decision to transplant immediately. And on December 7, Grandma’s kidney worked for Yaroslav on the operating table. the grandson is very optimistic, “the statement said.
In 2021, it is planned to perform at least 250 organ and tissue transplant operations. This is almost twice as much as last year.
