kyiv.Ukraine.Ukraine Gate – December 27,2021-The National Commission for Regulation of Energy and Utilities (NCRECP) has approved new gas distribution tariffs from January 1, 2022 for 40 gas distribution system operators.
Thus, gas distribution companies will slightly increase tariffs . However, as the chairman of the National Commission for Regulation of Economic Competition Valery Tarasyuk assured, after the revision the tariffs will remain at the current level.
“We assumed that the adjustment of tariffs was at the level of inflation, but it turned out even less, and mainly due to the fact that gas for production and technological losses, as we agreed, is taken into account at UAH 7.42 per cubic meter. this is not an increase, but a tariff adjustment is taking place, “Tarasyuk said.
Thus, the highest prices of UAH 1.99 per cubic meter. m approved for consumers “Gadyachgaz”, “Zakarpatgaz”, “Lubnygaz”, “Mykolaivgaz”, “Tysmenytsiagaz”, “Kharkivgaz” and “Chernivtsigaz”. Compared to current tariffs, the increase is from 10 to 15% .
The lowest tariffs were set for Kyivgas – UAH 0.32 per cubic meter. m, “Kharkivmiskgaz” – 0.43 UAH per cubic meter. m, “Kremenchukgaz” – 0.46 UAH per cubic meter. m, “Kryvorizhgaz” – UAH 0.53 per cubic meter. m and “Cherkasygaz” – 0.57 UAH per cubic meter. m. In this case, the increase is from 4 to 16% .

As for the cost of the most blue fuel, its price will remain unchanged until the end of the heating season – at the level of eight hryvnias for the population. The President’s Office noted that 27 billion hryvnias had been allocated to local councils to compensate for the difference in the cost of a cubic meter of gas from the budget.
It will be recalled that Prime Minister Denis Shmygal stated that the price of gas for the population for the next annual period from May 1, 2022 to April 30, 2023 will be formed depending on the price of gas on the world market and the volume of its own production.
