It is known that on December 23 in Japan sales of C + pod started. This is the smallest and cheapest electric car from Toyota.
Its length is 2490 mm, width is 1290 mm, height is 1550 mm.
The interior of C + pod is decorated concisely. All readings of devices are displayed on the monochrome display, from functions only the most necessary are available. Air conditioning, heated seats and power windows are only available as options.
It is reported that the weight of the electric car is 670 kg. Toyota C + pod is equipped with an electric motor with a capacity of 12.5 hp with a torque of 56 Nm. Top speed is limited to 60 km / h. It has a 9.1 kWh rechargeable battery. It provides a range of 150 km. Charging from 0 to 100% takes about 5 hours.
The base version of the Toyota C + pod will cost 16 thousand dollars. The most expensive equipment was estimated at 17.5 thousand dollars.
