The report of a fire in the apartment of a residential building located on Lermontov Street in Ternivka was received at about 8 am.
According to rescuers, the fire broke out in a two-room apartment on the fifth floor of a five-story apartment building.
“A woman born in 1998 and two children, girls born in 2015 and 2021, were injured in the fire in the apartment. A woman with a newborn baby went out into the fresh air on her own. The girl, born in 2015, was taken out of the smoky room by SES soldiers with the help of a visual and respiratory protection device and handed over to medics, ”the SES said.

The victims were hospitalized by emergency medical workers at the children’s ward of the Ternivka Central City Hospital, with a previous diagnosis of “combustion poisoning.”
Due to heavy smoke, five residents were rescued from a neighboring apartment on the fifth floor.
The fire damaged household property in an area of 5 square meters. m.
At 08:17 the fire was localized and at 08:20 it was eliminated.
