Ukraine imported the most chocolate and other cocoa-containing food products from Poland ($ 68.16 million), Germany ($ 29.2 million) and the Netherlands ($ 25.51 million).
In particular, in 2021 Ukraine bought $ 28.33 million worth of chocolate and other food products with cocoa content without fillings in the form of blocks, tiles or bars. This is 27.18% more than a year earlier. Most chocolate without fillings was imported last year from Germany ($ 6.41 million), Poland ($ 4.95 million) and Belarus ($ 2.75 million).
At the same time, exports of chocolate and other food products containing cocoa in 2021 compared to the previous year increased by 19.15% in monetary terms – to 189.14 million dollars.
Ukraine exported chocolate and other food products with cocoa content to Romania ($ 18.8 million), Kazakhstan ($ 18.49 million) and Bulgaria ($ 13.05 million).
Last year, Ukraine sold $ 48.56 million worth of chocolate without fillings, which is 3.54% more than in 2020. Most of it was exported to Kazakhstan ($ 5.6 million), Azerbaijan ($ 3.82 million) and the United Kingdom ($ 3.71 million).
