In 2020, the export of chocolates reached 65.1 million dollars, and for the year increased by 26.48%.
This year, Ukraine sold the most chocolates to Kazakhstan ($ 7.77 million), Romania ($ 6.97 million) and Bulgaria ($ 6.61 million).
As for only chocolate candies without alcohol content, in 2021 Ukraine sold them abroad for 67.21 million dollars. (+ 26.64% per year). Most to Kazakhstan ($ 6.85 million), Poland ($ 4.54 million) and Romania ($ 4.39 million).
Ukraine’s imports of chocolates, including those containing alcohol, reached $ 47.73 million in 2021, which is almost three times more in monetary terms than in 2020. During the same period in 2020, imports of chocolates amounted to 36.74 million dollars, and in 2021 increased by 29.89%.
The Netherlands (10.2 million dollars), Poland (7.79 million dollars) and Italy (6.46 million dollars) became the TOP-3 importers of chocolates in Ukraine in 2021.
As for only chocolate candies without alcohol content, last year Ukraine bought them for 44.86 million dollars. (+ 29.44% per year). Most of the Netherlands ($ 10.2 million), Poland ($ 6.38 million) and Italy ($ 6.38 million).
