The head of the executive committee of the National Council of Reforms of Ukraine Mykhailo Saakashvili said on the air of Ukraine 24 TV channel that the weekend quarantine leads to a severe economic crisis, UNN reports.
“It simply came to our notice then. Germany, France and other countries (where strict quarantine restrictions have been introduced – ed.) Have large resources, reserves, and they help business. There are no such resources in Ukraine today. I think Zelensky was right to send some of the “crazy” money to help businesses. These 8 thousand UAH at least some, but the help. According to him, the problem is that “if you just run in, close (business – ed.) – it is unlikely to be effective”.
“Moreover, these measures do not work. I was on weekends in many places where cafes and restaurants work quietly, the police take money for the fact that they are open, quietly shelter. Let’s not deceive ourselves, “he said.
