The document is designed to address the issue of transplant payments. In particular, the law stipulates that the state pays for all transplants and they are free for the patient. Also, the document states that the tariffs fully cover the costs of hospitals for such operations.
In addition, the document stipulates that the selection of the donor-recipient pair will be carried out by the Unified State Transplant System, which is completely independent of human influence and independently conducts such selection according to certain criteria.
It also addresses the possibility of providing lifelong consent or disapproval of donations through electronic resources.
The law enters into force on the day following the day of its publication, except for certain provisions that come into force on December 1, 2022.

It will be recalled that after the expansion of donation opportunities in Ukraine, the number of transplant operations has increased. In Ukraine in 2021 it was planned to perform at least 250 operations on transplantation of organs and tissues, which is almost 2 times more than last year.
Head of the Department of Kidney Transplantation of the National Institute of Surgery and Transplantology named after OO Shalimov Ruben Zohrabyan reported that as of October, more than 150 kidney transplants had been performed. Previously, the annual number of transplants in Ukraine did not exceed 100-120 operations per year.
In addition, the Ministry of Digital Transformation and the Ministry of Health are working to ensure that a section on posthumous transplantation can be included in the Action Appendix.
At the same time, according to UNN, currently the procedure for the distribution of donor organs in Ukraine is impeccable. Thus, in Ukraine there was a case of manipulation of donor organs.
