On January 6, a significant avalanche danger (level 3) remains in the highlands of Zakarpattia and the mountains of Ivano-Frankivsk region.
In addition, during the day in the Transcarpathian region heavy rains with the transition to wet snow; in the Carpathians, significant wet snow, accumulation of wet snow, ice on the roads (I level of danger, yellow).
In addition, due to rising groundwater caused by complications of weather conditions, mudflows in Transcarpathia rose and flooded more than 170 houses.
