According to information published this week in the Google blog, the first stage of web browser updates this year eliminates 37 vulnerabilities identified by experts. One of them is even listed as “critical”, ten more “high level”.
According to the company, Google did not specify how these vulnerabilities can be exploited by hackers.
This is to prevent attackers from using them to attack Chrome users before they can upgrade.
Each vulnerability leaves the browser vulnerable to cybercriminals who may use users’ passwords and financial data.
To avoid this, the tech giant recommends switching to Chrome 97. The update is reported to be available soon.
