When eating behavior is normal, it is based on three main factors: hunger, satiety and the need for a certain food (often this point stems from the inner feeling and intuitive need for a product / dish at the moment).

We can talk about normal eating behavior if:
Meals are based on feelings of hunger
You do not follow pre-established meal plans, any “schedule”.
You choose food according to your inner desires and needs (intuitively)
You are not trying to “fit” into a certain number of calories or follow a prescribed diet.
You stop eating when you feel full

Signs of eating disorder
Deviations from normal eating behavior can be divided into two groups:
An obvious group
Eating is always systemic. For example, you eat “on schedule”. Or eat when you’re not hungry, because “it’s time to eat.”
Food choices are based on information from external sources. For example, on the principles of any food system or calorie counting. You are not based on inner desires, you do not listen to your body.

This is no less dangerous and can also lead to negative consequences – severe weight gain or catastrophic weight loss and even failure of certain organs.
An unobvious group
So, there are 4 unobvious signs that you have an eating disorder:
food intake is not conditioned by anything at all: neither time, nor schedule, nor hunger, nor absence of hunger;
eating is based on the obvious presence or absence of food. For example: if there is food in the line of sight – a person eats, if there is no food in the line of sight – respectively, no;
very weak saturation signals or their absence. A person does not have a foothold on the feeling of satiety in eating, respectively, there is no awareness of how much food he ate;
constant feeling of hunger, even immediately after eating. This sign may indicate an eating disorder, which is psychosomatic in nature and requires direct work with a specialist.
The causes of eating disorders can be various factors, each of which in some way can aggravate the other.
It is worth paying attention to the most common conditions and “alarm bells” that contribute to various eating disorders:
constant stress;
depression;
negative relationships in the family / at work;
