The top 3 importers of cucumbers, including gherkins, to Ukraine in 2021 were Turkey ($ 17.15 million), Belarus ($ 4.91 million) and Iran ($ 204.36 thousand). Moreover, most were imported from Turkey.
At the same time, in 2021 Ukraine exported cucumbers worth $ 5.79 million, which is 26.6% more than in 2020, when exports amounted to $ 4.58 million. The biggest connoisseurs of Ukrainian cucumbers last year were Poland ($ 2.94 million), Estonia ($ 1.98 million), and Moldova ($ 317.99 thousand).
