All these techniques differ from each other. Thus, face building is a manipulation that enhances the tone of facial muscles, face fitness (gymnastics) – their strengthening, facial massage (or self-massage) – a technique to relax the muscles of the face and neck.
The first two methods are aimed at pumping up the muscles of the face, because with age their tone decreases. But those who practice self-massage are convinced that the muscles, on the contrary, are hypertonic, and they need to relax.
Experts say that only facial massage has scientific confirmation, and face fitness and face building can only do harm. And age does not matter, because muscle spasms occur in healthy young people.
Due to hypertension, there is a change in appearance and sagging muscles and skin. Muscles begin to contract worse, fibers are destroyed, which leads to lethargy. Therefore, “swinging” facial muscles can only hurt – they do not need extra tone.
Experts say that stretching the skin and exercises to increase tone can only accelerate the aging process. To maintain youth, neither skin nor muscles need to be pulled, you need to learn to relax.
This is what facial self-massage is aimed at. Experts recommend looking for and using exercises to relax and reduce spasms, because even the simplest techniques are more useful and scientifically sound than any face fitness.
