The system will allow farmers to transfer digital, technical and administrative data quickly and securely.
The Federal Department of Agriculture (FOAG) in partnership with the canton of Freiburg is implementing a pilot project on the exchange of agricultural data. Digital, technical and administrative indicators of agricultural activity have already started to be exchanged by farmers who became participants in the first stage of the project.
The program “Release of data for third parties and third-party applications” is implemented by FOAG as part of the administrative simplification of data exchange in agriculture. Two pilot projects will be carried out before the program is presented in Switzerland. Successful completion of the first stage will precede the beginning of the next, second period.
