Due to calcium, it promotes bone health, improves digestion because it contains magnesium sulfate and sodium. Mineral water strengthens heart health because it lowers cholesterol, and magnesium reduces the risk of coronary heart disease. Finally, mineral water is an indispensable low-fat supplement with a large number of minerals that metabolize fats. This means that the use of mineral water helps to fight overweight.
But it consists not only of the pros. Excessive consumption of mineral water causes side effects. If the mineral water is contained in a plastic bottle, there is a risk of transferring chemicals from the plastic into the water. And this threatens to get into the body of plastic particles. Carbonated mineral water contains carbonic acid, which provokes bloating. Mineral water has fewer microbes, it does not undergo disinfection and contains microorganisms. Finally, carbonated mineral water can damage tooth enamel, according to a study by scientists from the University of Birmingham.
