German Foreign Minister Annalena Berbok held her first meeting in Ukraine, where she arrived for the first time in office. She met with representatives of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission. This was announced on Twitter by the press service of the German Foreign Ministry of Germany .

On January 17, Annalena Burbock pays her first visit to Ukraine. She is scheduled to hold a number of meetings, including with Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba.
The visit is aimed at confirming Germany’s support for Ukraine against the background of Russia’s aggressive actions.
The key topics of the Kuliba and Burbock talks will be intensifying international efforts to counter Russian aggression, coordinating further steps within the Normandy format and the Crimean Platform, Ukraine’s integration into the EU and NATO, and developing bilateral economic, energy and humanitarian partnerships.
