This afternoon, Thursday, Jordanian businessman and economist Tawfiq Fakhoury, founder of Bank of Jordan, died after being infected with the Coronavirus.
Tawfiq Fakhoury began his career in Saudi Arabia, and established his business and economic activities there, then transferred most of his investments to Jordan, and founded many companies, most notably the Bank of Jordan, Al-Iqbal Printing and Packaging Company, and Al-Iqbal Real Estate Development Company, and also investing in the field of cigarettes and tobacco.
